Here are some early monsters by Jim Henson.

These three monsters are the Wheel Stealer, Flute Snatcher, and the Crown Grabber.   In 1966, General Foods Canada asked Jim Henson to make a test commercial for their snack products. The Wheel Stealer is an early version of the Cookie Monster.
