Gotham's Sexy Penguin Robin Lord Taylor vs The Real Oswald Cobblepot

Gotham's Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) is nothing like the Penguin in this origin story. He is the only reason I am watching Gotham. He's sniveling, sadistic, creepy, clever, and kind of sexy!

Hot Stuff!!!!
Cartoon Cobblepot is a squat, fat schlub.  As you can see, he looks like a squashed Richard Nixon with a Pinocchio nose.

Squashed Richard Nixon

In the comic, Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot lives with his domineering, ailing mother in a bird shop.  She forces him to carry an umbrella even when the weather is nice.  His father died from bronchial pneumonia two weeks after being caught in a thunderstorm without his umbrella. Oswald is nicknamed Penguin due to his distinctive walk.  His wobble weevil body makes him walk like a penguin.

In Gotham, Oswald Cobblepot lives with his domineering, ailing mother in a cramped apartment.  He carries an umbrella for Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith) so that her hair doesn't get frizzy in the rain. He is called Penguin because he walks with a bit of a limp and sometimes wears tuxedos. This Oswald does not seem to have an affinity for birds but mob boss Falcone (much like the Great Gonzo) has some kind of fixation on chickens as well as a chicken coop in his back yard.

I wonder if Universal had a problem with the Mummy, Frankenstein, or Werewolf iron-on transfers?  It might be copyright infringement.
