LINK ROUNDUP: You Call These Treats?!? The WORST Halloween Candies - Countdown To Halloween / BlogOWeen


I have a conspiracy theory about Mary Jane candies.  They all were produced in one sticky, messy batch in 1914 and have been doled out by senior citizens since that time to "trick" the trick or treaters. The candy is an unusual mix of hard and sticky - sort of like dental quicksand. How many little teeth have been pulled out by this candy? That probably explains why Mary Jane has a hand over her mouth. Apples with razor blades were better treats.


I started to write a post about the most disappointing Halloween treats (Mary Janes, Necco Wafers, and Circus Peanuts) and I found a couple of articles which covered all the bases.
